Privacy at a glance

A plain-language summary of what StoryBoard OS collects, why, and how it is protected. This is a product summary, not a substitute for a full legal policy — a complete policy will accompany billing launch.

What we collect

  • Account data: your email and display name, used to sign you in and identify your workspace.
  • Project content: the scripts, topics, prompts, characters, and settings you enter, plus the story, scenes, and media generated from them.
  • Usage data: the credits each generation consumes, so we can enforce plan limits fairly.

How we use it

  • To run the pipeline you asked for — developing stories, breaking down scenes, and generating media on your behalf.
  • To enforce plan entitlements and content-safety rules on the server before anything generates.
  • To keep your account secure and to respond when you contact support.
  • We do not sell your data, and we do not use your project content to train our own models.

AI processing and third parties

  • Generation runs through third-party AI providers (for language, images, voices, and video). The prompts and reference material needed for a stage are sent to the relevant provider to produce your output.
  • Authentication, database, and file storage are handled by Supabase. Media you generate is kept in private storage and served to you through short-lived signed links.
  • These processors handle data under their own terms; we share only what a given stage needs.

Storage and security

  • Data is scoped to your account with row-level security, so one user cannot read another's projects.
  • Secrets and model keys live only in server environments and never reach your browser.
  • Billing is not live yet: no payment card is collected or stored by StoryBoard OS today.

Your controls

  • You can view your profile, plan, and usage on the account page at any time.
  • You can request deletion of your account and its projects by emailing support; self-serve deletion arrives with billing.
